The best advice we give is to embrace the process and try to enjoy it. When you stay engaged with a positive attitude, the outcomes are far better. Developers and teams want the best for their customers, and success comes from working with them, respecting their craft, and valuing the journey.

My friend said he could build a product in a day using vibe coding (AI). Why not do that?

Hatchery developers use AI every day, but our focus remains on building strong, adaptable products. Much of our work involves FinTech or scientific software, where understanding the math, structure, and security of the system is critical. AI can accelerate parts of development, but relying on it entirely isn’t the right approach.
In addition to this, there are many things freelancers or new developers might not be aware of or consider. Hatchery has extensive experience and we can help you navigate various areas including legal, payments, security, roadmaps and feature prioritization.
